Sky of Blue Cards expands team

Sky of Blue Cards recently announced the hire of four new sales representatives to continue to expand sales of the company’s acclaimed letterpress greeting cards and specialty paper products. While the new sales representatives will focus efforts to boost sales and expand company growth on a national level, emphasis will be placed in Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi and South Dakota. Furthermore, Sky of Blue Cards has hired Lovely Little Things, a small boutique and manufacturer’s representative company based in Portland, Oregon, to expand sales in the Pacific Northwest including Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

“The sales team is the backbone to our company. It’s imperative to have the right people in the sales positions to help lead the growth of a company. We are experiencing a tremendous interest in Sky of Blue Cards products and I am excited to be brining these experienced individuals onboard to help continue the growth of our brand and company,” said Karla Ebrahimi, CEO and chief designer of Sky of Blue Cards.

At the helm of the sales team will be Regine Nelson, who will serve as Sky of Blue Cards’ inside sales representative. With more than 10 years of experience in marketing and communications in corporate and internal communication sectors, Nelson will be responsible for assisting marketing and communications campaigns for Sky of Blue Cards as well as oversee sales nationally. Nelson’s past employers include a line-up of large enterprises including PayPal, NetApp, Yahoo and Adobe. She comes to Sky of Blue Cards following the founding of her own start-up — My Black Tresses — an online directory site boasting more than 4,000 hair care salon and stylist listings in the U.S. and beyond for women of color.

Other new sales hires and their territories include:

·       Lori Carstensen overseeing Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota

·       Shane Griffin covering Louisiana and Mississippi

·       Lourdes Rodriguez covering Florida

Each new sales representative will lead the efforts in their territory by placing calls to local stores and companies that could potentially sell Sky of Blue Cards products, as well as current retailers for placing re-orders on new cards and collections as they are released. Additionally new sales hires will be responsible for sending out sales samples and advocate any marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions to its current retailers.
