Paperworld accepting entries for 13th annual greeting card design competition

Messe Frankfurt and the German Association of Greetings Card Manufacturers and Publishers (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hersteller und Verleger von Glückwunschkarten – A.V.G.) invites entries for its 13th annual greeting card design competition at Paperworld in Frankfurt, Germany. Within the sector, the competition is one of the most successful initiatives aimed at firing the imaginations of young talents and creative people with regard to the greetings card market. Would-be participants still have plenty of time, as the deadline for submissions is Oct. 31, 2015. This year the competition will follow current trends for hand-lettering, whereby characters are not written, but rather drawn or painted.

Paperworld is held annually in Frankfurt. The trade show presents the latest products and trends for the sector — 1,641 exhibitors from 61 countries took part in the last edition. The 2016 edition is set for Jan. 30-Feb. 2. For more information, visit paperworld.messefrankfurt.com.
